Terms and conditions of sale for our online outlet store.

Effective from: 8^th April 2025.

1. Introduction

Welcome to LightFi (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern your purchase of products from our website https://www.lightfi.io/

2. Orders & Payment

All orders are subject to availability.
Prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT (where applicable).
Payment must be made in full before dispatch.
We accept major credit/debit cards and other payment methods listed at checkout.

3. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
Risk of damage/loss passes to you upon delivery.
If delivery fails due to incorrect address, you may be charged for re-delivery.

4. Returns & Refunds Policy

Right to Cancel (Distance Selling Regulations)

You have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order for any reason.
To return, contact us at contact@lightfi.io for a Returns Authorisation (RA) number.
Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, and include proof of purchase.
You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your Sahara Sensor is defective or incorrect, notify us within 30 days for a free replacement or refund.
Proof of defect may be required.

Refund Processing

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

5. Warranty

The Sahara Sensor comes with a 12 month limited warranty from the date of purchase.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects but excludes:
- Damage from misuse, accidents, or unauthorised modifications.
- Normal wear and tear.
To claim, contact us with proof of purchase and a description of the fault.
We may repair, replace, or refund at our discretion.

6. Limitation of Liability

LightFi is not liable for:
- Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

7. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We do not store payment details.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by English law.
Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
