Terms and conditions of sale for our online outlet store.

1. Introduction

Welcome to LightFi (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern your purchase of products from our website https://www.lightfi.io/ 

2. Orders & Payment

  • All orders are subject to availability.
  • Prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT (where applicable).
  • Payment must be made in full before dispatch.
  • We accept major credit/debit cards and other payment methods listed at checkout.

3. Delivery

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
  • Risk of damage/loss passes to you upon delivery.
  • If delivery fails due to incorrect address, you may be charged for re-delivery.

4. Returns & Refunds Policy

Right to Cancel (Distance Selling Regulations)

  • You have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order for any reason.
  • To return, contact us at contact@lightfi.io for a Returns Authorisation (RA) number.
  • Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, and include proof of purchase.
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

  • If your Sahara Sensor is defective or incorrect, notify us within 30 days for a free replacement or refund.
  • Proof of defect may be required.

Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

5. Warranty

  • The Sahara Sensor comes with a 12 month limited warranty from the date of purchase.
  • The warranty covers manufacturing defects but excludes:
    • Damage from misuse, accidents, or unauthorised modifications.
    • Normal wear and tear.
  • To claim, contact us with proof of purchase and a description of the fault.
  • We may repair, replace, or refund at our discretion.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • LightFi is not liable for:
    • Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
    • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
  • Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

7. Data Protection

  • Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • We do not store payment details.

8. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by English law.
  • Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
